Effective January 1, 2026
These Terms of Service govern bookings with Capital Shots Inc., an Ottawa real estate photography studio (“Capital Shots”, “we”, “our”). By booking a shoot you (“Client”) agree to these terms.
A booking is confirmed once a date has been accepted and any deposit has been received. Full payment is due on the day of delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Invoices unpaid after 14 days carry a 1.5 percent monthly interest charge.
Reschedule with no fee up to 24 hours before the shoot. Within 24 hours, a $50 rescheduling fee applies to cover routing and the lost slot. Cancellations within 24 hours are billed at 50 percent of the package rate.
Weather rescheduling for exterior or aerial real estate photography is fee-free up to the morning of the shoot. We will not shoot exteriors in conditions that compromise our standard. We make the call on the day, in the Client’s best interest.
The Client is responsible for ensuring the Ottawa listing is photo-ready and accessible at the scheduled time. We do not stage, declutter, or move furniture unless specifically arranged. If the property is not ready on arrival, we may proceed at the time available, return at extra cost, or reschedule. A rescheduling fee will apply.
Capital Shots retains copyright in all photographs, video, floor plans, and 3D tours produced. Upon full payment, the Client receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the deliverables to market the specific listing they were created for. This includes the Client’s brokerage materials, MLS, social media, signage, and listing portals tied to that property.

All drone real estate photography is performed under Transport Canada RPAS rules by a certified pilot. Operations are subject to airspace restrictions, weather, and on-site safety. We will not fly when conditions, airspace, or pilot judgement say otherwise. If aerial work cannot be completed safely or legally, we will reschedule that portion of the shoot at no extra fee.
Capital Shots may use deliverables in our portfolio, website, social media, and marketing materials, including before and after the property is sold. If a confidentiality embargo is required, please tell us in writing before the shoot.
Personal information is handled under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA). We do not sell, rent, or share Client information with third parties.
Capital Shots’ total liability for any claim related to a shoot is limited to the amount paid for that shoot. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Nothing in this clause limits any liability that cannot be excluded under Ontario or Canadian law.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect on the date of booking applies to that booking.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Ontario courts.
